Create a fun mini-album for your snapshots, memories, and whatever else tickles your fancy.  You’ll be using Kraft Resist Papers, Distress Stains and Inks, Idea-ology, Alterations, and…………….You won’t want to miss this class.

 

Nine in Ninety  $35

Liquid mediums are all the rage---from inks to stains, mists to paints.  In this technique-focused class May will show you ideas for getting more out of these products, and so much more.  She will walk you through nine different ideas to try, and plenty of product will be available to test and try the various techniques.  A handout listing how-to and the techniques, as well as sample projects, will be provided.  Finished projects will not be the focus of this class, but rather ideas and techniques.  Manila tags will be a part of the kit as well as blank cards, so students may practice the techniques and experiment with stamps and more.

 

District Market Mixed Media Canvas  $70

What could be better than a canvas already funked up like the ones from Tim Holtz District Market? ---taking it to the next level with paper, paint, a little know-how, and plenty of fun supplies.  In this three hour workshop May will show you the canvas that inspired this class, as well as give you plenty of new ideas and show you that mixed media can be a lot of fun.  Stamps, papers, metals, embellishments, trims, and so much more will be brought to class for you to use and play with.  The class will offer some ideas and tips for work on your background,  a focal point and finishing your project, but this will be a workshop style class with lots of time to create and experiment.
Supply recommendations:  any favorite acrylic paint, photos, patterned paper or ephemera that you may want to include in your canvas are welcome.

 

Crafty Cuttlebug   $25

One can never have too much fun creating cards with a Cuttlebug.  Deborah has a new set of cards for you using this invaluable little machine.  Don’t forget to bring it to class with you.  This class will be repeated on Sunday, May 27.

Cards for Soldiers.

Once again we will spend the day making cards for soldiers serving away from home to send to their loved ones.  It is a small gesture that we can make to thank them for their service.  Please let us know if you will be joining us as space is limited and we would like to plan accordingly.  You are also more than welcome to bring completed cards to the store and we will be sure to include them with our shipment.  Please refer to Operation Write Home.net for guidelines.

 

Crafty Cuttlebug  $25

This is a repeat of the class offered on Sunday, May 20.

 

 

 

Class kits should include adhesive, foam mounting tape, paint brush or water brush, xacto knife, scissors, bone folder, cutting mat, tweezers, glue dots, ruler and pencil and a small personal cutter. It’s a good idea to label your items with name, etc as the store is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Any other items for class will be noted under the class descriptions. Class kit MUST be brought to every class!

 

 

NOTES

A few important notes to tell you about.  Our class policy is if we have a guest teacher, in all fairness to the teacher, we can accept class cancellations up until 7 days before the class, but not after that.  If you have to cancel at the last minute, we regret to inform you that you will not receive a credit for the class amount. We also reserve the right to cancel a class if the minimum number of students is not met.  If you have a new email address, please tell us with an email, but in the subject line please indicate A New Address.@
